Anyhoo, one thing they had done was to remove the broken benches from around the huge maple tree. Well, LUCKILY, they have replaced those benches and they look beautiful!
Thank goodness because that was the only good place to sit and watch your kids.

Hi- I've working with Parents United of Salem to help get the new playground underway. We have a final design approved by all necessary parties and we are now in the fund raising phase. Whenever possible BTW various ADA friendly features have been added, including plans for a poured rubber ground and lower level activities for mobility impaired children. I have a CG rendering of the final design that I can send if you'd like to include it in your blog.
